Print Jam – How to get it right !

A fashion-genius once said, “life is too short to wear boring clothes”. Even though not many of us would want to experiment with our ways of dressing on a daily basis, but I do believe it’s healthy to step out of your comfort zone at least once. And hence, today’s post is all about leaving the classics behind & taking up new challenges.

So before I take you through today’s look book, here’s a HUGE Hellooo to all my followers, and especially to those who’ve reminded me that I haven’t been regular, and are still out there waiting to catch up !! 🙂 With a full time job in hand, I can promise that I shall try to remain as connected as possible. Forgive me if I miss out on being punctual 😛

As I mentioned above, today’s post ‘Print Jam’ is all about stepping out of our fashion boundaries. All over prints have never been a part of my ‘must haves’ list, neither have I ever picked them over solids. And as we have witnessed some breathtaking print-on-print harmonies on the runway in the past two seasons, we have also spotted some brilliant matches on the streets here and there.
Taking inspiration from the much talked about ‘Print-on-Print’ trend, #OutfitOfTheDay is a mix of Geo-Tribal and Animal.

Keeping the hair & make up almost natural and minimal, avoid accessorising much as well. A statement ear cuff or ring can solve the purpose of adding that extra edge to your look.

Wearing a mix of rust & nude on the lips and blush tones on eyes.

Putting this look together was certainly an exciting task !
I’d love to hear from all of you about your fashion-boundareis and how you would want to cross them. 🙂
